It’s was that time of year. The verdant spring had arrived, green grass and young shoots were pushing through the soil in joyous rebirth. And it was just barely MARCH, for crying out loud! What’s the deal with this weather?! Anyway, with all the snow around Chez Satz having melted it was clear that before I knew it I’d be knee deep in mowing, trimming, pruning and seeing to all the other horticultural delights of the upcoming seasons. Which meant if I was going to get out to California for our yearly trip, it needed to happen stat. Because that’s our working theory - visit in winter when it’s warm and cozy over there and cold and icy over here. Even if that climatological reality seems to have flipped lately.
That sounds like a scary flight. Glad you and Claire are okay. Not happy to hear about the United flight to Osaka losing a wheel. We fly to that city rather regularly to visit our son.
